What types of packaging machines do you supply?
We supply horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) pouch packing machines up to 320 PPM, pick fill seal (PFS) machines for pre-made pouches, liquid filling lines from 50 ml to 50 L, bulk HFFS/VFFS bagging for 5–50 kg, stick and sachet packing up to 4,000 sachets per minute, twist tying, product handling and end-of-line secondary packaging.
What is an HFFS machine and when should I use one?
An HFFS (horizontal form-fill-seal) machine forms the pouch from roll film lying flat, then fills and seals it. Because product is placed rather than dropped, HFFS handles shaped, spouted and ziplock pouches that vertical machines cannot. It is the right choice for premium pouch formats at higher volumes — up to 320 packs per minute with one to three filling stations, across powders, granules, liquids and pastes.
What is a pick fill seal (PFS) machine?
A pick fill seal machine picks a pre-made pouch — doy pack, ziplock or corner-spout — opens it, fills it and seals it. Vedvik manufactures cam-driven PFS machines in Ahmedabad running up to 60 cycles per minute for fills from 50 g to 5 kg, typically paired with a multihead weigher. PFS suits premium pre-made pouch presentation at moderate volumes, with lower tooling cost than a full HFFS line.
How do I choose between HFFS and pick fill seal?
It comes down to pouch supply, output and cost. Pick fill seal uses ready-made printed pouches, giving excellent shelf presentation at moderate speed with lower tooling investment. HFFS forms the pouch on the machine from roll film, which lowers per-pack film cost and reaches far higher speeds. Tell us your product, target output and pack format and we will size the right option against your actual throughput.
Which inspection systems are available for pharma and food lines?
Vision inspection up to 1,200 units per minute, dynamic checkweighers from 5 g to 15 kg (OIML/CE certified), X-ray and metal detection for foreign bodies, voids and underfill (CE / FDA 21 CFR), and TIJ, CIJ and laser coders for batch, MRP and barcode printing with Industry 4.0 connectivity.

Yes. Every machine is installed, commissioned and supported by our own engineers, with spares and service handled locally from Ahmedabad for manufacturers across India — which is usually the deciding factor between an imported machine that runs and one that sits idle waiting for support.
